Whiteparish has an extensive recreation area--the "Memorial Ground"--in the middle of the village, behind All Saints
church. This is used by the village cricket and football clubs, and for village-wide events such as the annual fete and fireworks
displays. The former small pavilion with changing rooms has been replaced by facilities within the larger and better-equipped new Memorial Centre, sited in the south-west corner of the Memorial Ground. For an idea of sports and other activities making use of the Memorial Centre, click here.
Also on the Memorial Ground, on the north side, are a children's play area with roundabouts, swings, climbing frame, etc; and the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) which contains two tennis courts and facilities for other sports such as 5-a-side football. (For more information about the MUGA, click here.)
On the east side is a skateboard and rollerblading area.
