The Share Club was started in January 1995, partly along lines suggested by ProShare, an organisation devoted to wider share ownership, and it has been running ever since, currently with 14 members. The club meets once a month at one of the village pubs. As many as possible of us usually enjoy a meal together before the meeting, though this isn't compulsory. So the emphasis is on eating and drinking, and if we happen to make a profit, then so much the better!

We like to keep our membership local, to preserve the sociable aspects of the club already mentioned. But vacancies do occur from time to time, so if you would like to know more, please get in touch!

. . . or rather AFTER the 2009 Christmas Dinner, suitably refreshed members were inspired to head upstairs at the Kings Head to add some welly to the Romsey Young Farmers Carol Concert rehearsal. Yes, they were invited. Sort of . . .
